Bring a Team to Honduras
Thank you for considering joining our team on a mission trip with Open Eyes Ministries.
We are truly honored that you would take this step of faith to serve alongside us in Honduras.
As you prepare for this journey, we encourage you to intentionally seek the Lord through prayer and fasting. This time of preparation will strengthen your heart and spirit so that you're ready to pour into others and boldly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This mission is a sacred calling—it’s not something we approach casually. Lives will be touched, and the love of Christ will be shared through your obedience. Please know that the Open Eyes Ministries team is also covering you in prayer as you get ready to step into this important work.

About Honduras
Honduras is the second largest country in Central America, full of beauty and diversity.
From its crystal-clear turquoise waters and pristine beaches to lush jungles, breathtaking mountains, rushing rivers, and awe-inspiring ancient ruins, the natural landscape is nothing short of extraordinary.
At the same time, Honduras is a developing nation and currently the second poorest country in Central America. Many families face economic hardship and live with limited resources.
Yet, despite these challenges, the Honduran people are incredibly resilient. They are proud, intelligent, and remarkably clean and resourceful—qualities that shine even in the most humble of living conditions. In communities where homes may be built of simple materials with dirt floors, you’ll still find a deep sense of dignity, care, and cleanliness.
Above all, Hondurans are known for their warmth and hospitality. Don’t let unfamiliar surroundings create distance—lean in, engage, and you’ll quickly experience the beauty of their generous and welcoming spirit.
